From the Great Lakes Region to Sunny Florida, my skills have developed from Interior Design into many different facades of Art. I consider my work to be a form of “Enlightened Creative Art”. Each piece is not only one of a kind, but they encompass remarkable imagery of critters, botanicals, insects, animals, and more.
They are manipulated with color, and the outcome, amazing. Then there’s the detail work, hand painting on those pieces. Oh, it doesn’t stop there, it began with watercolors, card making, silk dyeing and painting, altered couture, jewelry making, and more painting and manipulating garments.
Fortunately, I was invited to teach mentally challenged adults, retirement centers, public events, schools, and libraries. Having my work exhibited at the Tampa Airport and featured on National networks, both TV and the internet, as well as Ybor City Art shows, City of Tampa, and Plant City Arts Council, Hillsborough County Arts Council, Sarasota and Tampa Bay Events, was indeed an honor.
My motto is “Normal is boring, Abby-normal is GENIUS”.
